Global warming is causing severe climate change. Particularly alarming is the situation on earth’s poles – north and south. Changes are occurring all the time, and we are just now beginning to discover them. What i want to say to you is that global warming is real, in fact more real than what some people have thought and it’s developing more quickly than anyone has ever anticipated. The temperature increases cause ice shelves to break up – as they are floating already this will not affect sea levels, it may cause the glaciers behind them to speed up their flow-rate considerably. These glaciers will add to sea-level rise if they melt.
