The small Japanese soaking tub

The Japanese Soaking Tub or the ‘furo’as it is known in Japan is just like a deep sink and can be heated up by a normal sized water tank. It is so small that when you first get in, there is hardly any space to move. You sit in a crouched position with your knees drawn up to your chin and just when you are wondering how to take a bath in this contraption, the warm water flowing all around you and totally submerging your body invokes a deep sense of relaxation and you can feel all your tension melt away. I really recommend a japanese soaking tub. It really does give you a taste of luxury.
