To cut and staple your stomach for life may not be the best procedure for you and that is why scientists looked for an innovative way to create a safer method. Lap Banding is reversible and no cutting or stapling is required. If, for some reason it causes complication in 20 years for a patient, it can be removed. At least the new eating habits will be formed and a patient can continue with their lifestyle.
