Internet security audit
January 12th, 2008 by admin
A very important step during the information security audit is to check whether the company has a security policy or not, and whether it is in codified format or not. A codified security policy is a policy that is written down and duly signed by every employee that will handle the data within the network of the organization. A codified policy is taken into much more regard than a written policy because such a policy can be legally applicable. Also, when the policy is codified, it can be implemented with preset parameters and that becomes quite important to maintain uniform rules in an organization. An Internet security audit will look into all these things.
