PCI Data Acquisition May Soon Be Obsolete
January 15th, 2008 by admin
Peripheral Component Interconnect or PCI standard (commonly just called PCI) are parts of hardware that gives a computer bus for attaching devices like PCI data acquisition hardware for example, to the motherboard so that it may be used by the computer operator. PCI buses are still extremely common in new computers, but it is likely that they will soon be a piece of legacy hardware due to its being superseded by PCI express slots in 2004. PCI slots are still very common though and this means PCI data acquisition hardware and devices should not be hard to find or make workable.
