If you are in the market for a new car then one of the first things that you should do is investigate how much the insurance will cost. Some cars are considered higher risk and the auto insurance coverage reflects this. Sometimes buying a nice car can end up burning a hole in your wallet for years to come because the insurance company attaches a higher risk on the car. Subaru cars often have this due to the fact that they are frequently stolen by thieves out for a joy ride in a high speed car.
