Have you heard the term Pedorthics before? Pedorthists use the title CPed and they are the feet, ankle orthotic and footwear experts. People who are practicing pedorthics are called Pedorthists and they share a lot with Podiatrists in a way that they are one of the few healthcare professionals that are trained in the assessment of lower limb anatomy and lower limb biomechanics. Both of them also have a specialized education and training for the prescription, manufacture, fitting and the modification of foot orthotics and footwear.
