I try to make sure that my computer is current on all the latest technology that is used to defend it against security threats, and I thought I had done a good job. Last month I was trying to bring up a program on my computer, and it was running more slowly than usual. I ran a virus scan, and nothing came up. I went online to see if there was an alert, and I read an article that detailed how to remove antivirus live. I couldn’t believe that my computer had been infected, and I promptly removed that program. I’m gad that no real damage was done!
