Having The Talk – About Airsoft Guns That Is

Our family has always been against guns, and against people being able to own them. They were created to kill, and people use them to kill others and cause destruction and tear people’s lives apart. We have instilled this value in our children as well. One day, my son Robert found my husband’s supply of airsoft guns, and was totally shocked, and came to me to ask why.
I explained to him that airsoft guns were toys that his father liked to play with his friends. I told him that airsoft guns don’t shoot bullets that kill people, they shoot little plastic pellets and are meant to play with your friends. He understands, but it took some conversations.
