What is Church For?

I was criticized years ago for going to my church every week. This woman called it “legalistic” or something like that. I asked her what the appropriate frequency was for going to church and she said when her gas tank is empty, she fills her car up. When she needs to go to church, she goes. I explained that it was my love of jesus christ that brought me to church, not what Jesus Christ could do for me. I show my love and devotion to Him that way. There might be someone else I could lift up that day.
