I had a funny experience a couple years ago. I found a message board that talks about parenting issues such as potty training, getting babies to go to sleep, how to deal with children who talk back, lie, steal, wet the bed, swear, etc., and there was a rather detailed profile you could fill out about yourself including favorite quotes. I chose a bunch from various church leaders that I loved and a woman e-mailed me through my profile to tell me how much she loved it and announced on the forum that everyone should read my quotes. In her address, I noticed she was probably evangelical and I wondered if she knew I was a part of that “mormon cult” as I’m told so often.  Refreshingly, she didn’t use the term “mormon cult“, but she did notice I was LDS and wrote back, “I love you even though you’re Mormon.”  Thanks?
