We have a friend who is interested in the history of Soiled Doves in the Midwest and influence on the West. She had heard that some of the very fmous and successful ladies had moved from Illinois, and wanted to verify it. She obtained Illinois state criminal records, looking for names that were mentioned in newpapers, criminal records or death records in the West. It was so interesting that we began begging her for more stories; ultimately, she wrote a book just to keep us quiet, and to share the ladies stories with others.
