Since my family has always been a military family, both of my parents have been used to renting a house, and never owning one due to the fact that if they had bought a house while dad was still in the service, they would have had a lot of extra stress whenever we had to move to a new place. Now, however, that dad has retired, they finally have the chance to buy their first home.
