What with growing energy costs and other expenses, I’ve been looking into Lean Manufacturing Techniques to see if we can improve our efficiency.
I’ve been reading up all over the web on Lean Manufacturing 5s. The adjustment process would be painful, but I think we can manage it.
All signs point to tough economic times ahead. I think that Improvements in efficiency are our best bet for weathering them.

Researching Internet Savings Accounts

I’ve been looking into online savings accounts lately. I’ve had enough of big local banks. Lousy rates and high fees - why stick with them? It’s time for a change, so I’m going to try something new. I’m particularly fed up with earning .5% interest for the privilege of lending my money to the bank. Enough is enough. Especially in light of the sorts of rates the same banks charge you when they lend you money. I poked around the net, and settled on captalone bank on line banking as the best option out there. They pay great rates, and don’t charge those ridiculous fees. Frankly, I couldn’t care less about meeting a banker in person. I’d much rather do my banking online with a click or two than wait in line at the branch. More people should check out internet banks instead of big banks. Let me know what you think about all this.

My Experiences With SEP IRA Retirement Plans

So it appears that my company focuses on SEP IRA Retirement Plans as its primary retirement benefit setup. That means I have to get educated about how they work if I’m going to plan properly for my retirement.
I’ve been coming the net for info on Sep Retirement Plans, but it’s been slow. This stuff just makes my eyes glaze over.
Hopefully I’ll be able to set things up and just let them coast after that. I don’t like micro-managing financial stuff.

Issues With Rankings Of Investment Newsletters

It’s time to get serious about
rankings of investment newsletters. It’s been a pain to get the info I need, though.
The more I read about
the best Stock Picking Newsletters, for example, the more confused I get. All the different sites seem to contradict each other.
I’m especially worried about losing money in my stock portfolio, not just the subscription cost of the newsletter.
I’m sure it will all work out. I’m just ready to be done with it.

I’ve just started learning about
Lean Manufacturing Methods. I think it could help our company if we could manage to make the necessary adjustments.
From what I’ve read about Lean Manufacturing 5s, I think it could be worth the difficult adjustment in the end. It will be a tough road, though.
I’d much rather improve our efficiency locally than resort to mass layoffs our overseas outsourcing.

Of course there’s a great deal more at risk than just the subscription cost. Investment losses from a poor decision will outweigh this cost many times over.
